David Bisbal visited Mexico briefly at the start of September 2004 to shoot the video for the new Latin American single "Esta ausencia". The shoot took place on the top of of a well known hotel en the centre of Mexico City in Avenida Reforma. The video shows David as the central character in a story representing different types of abscence. He wears a black shirt, jeans, black boots and his hair in a ponytail. It was recorded on the roof especially to show Mexico City in the background. He commented that "Mexico has been the place in all Latin America that I have visited the most and I have a special love for all the happiness they have brought me. It is the fourth single in Latin America.
