Algunos de tus fans están preocupados porque piensan que harás igual que 
Julio Iglesias, quedarte a vivir en Miami 
Some of your fans are a bit worried they think that you will do 
the same as Julio Iglesias and live in Miami. 

“Sigo llevando la música de mi tierra por todo 
el mundo, y ahora estoy en Miami por trabajo 
pero no pienso quedarme a vivir allí” 
"I go taking the music of Andalucia all over the world,
I am in Miami working and I am not thinking of staying there to live".

¿Qué opinas de la gente que dice que quizás eres 
demasiado joven para recibirle ay hay otros artistas 
más veteranos que aún no la tienen? 
What do you think of the people that think you are too young 
to recieve this when the older veterans dont have it?

“Todo el que lleva con orgullo su tierra es merecedor 
de ella. Hoy tengo la suerte de compartir este 
momento con gente estupenda” 
"Everyone who is proud of Andalucia deserves it. Today I am lucky 
to share the moment with great people".

You seem very emotional

“Me siento muy orgulloso. 
Creo que mi tierra es una tierra de tradiciones, 
que compartimos y sobre todo procuramos conservar” 
"I feel very proud. I believe Andalucia is a region of 
traditions that we share and above all try to conserve"
 
¿Crees que es una tierra conocida sólo por sus tópicos? 
Do you believe it is a region known only for a few things?

“Creo que no, Andalucía evoca muchos sentimientos y como 
bien ha dicho el presidente Chaves una Tierra muy 
diversa y donde hay mucho arte reconocido internacionalmente” 
"No, Andalucia evokes lots of feelings and as the President Chavez 
said so well its a region of diversity known internationally".

¿Qué queda del David que cantaba en la feria de Roquetas? 
What is left of the David who used to sing in the Roquetas festivals?

“Todo, sobre todo de la alegría, y la ilusión por seguir trabajando” 
"Everything, above all happiness and the excitement to carry on working" 

¿A quién dedicas esta medalla? 
Who do you dedicate this medal to? 

“A Andalucía, y a mi familia, a los que no han podido venir, pero 
me han visto por televisión” 
"To Andaluca, and my family, and those who couldn't come but
watched me on the TV"

¿Por qué no te ha acompañado Elena? 
Why hasn't Elena come with you?

“Ella también tenía sus compromisos” 
"She has her obligations too"
